Quick question for you beamish...what's "goof" mean to you? Let's just say that I'm a bit of a buff for international slang. So if you'd let me know, I'd totally dig that. Thanks brother.

I have the vinyl, so I've got to say that it does something for me. I agree that the synth lines are a little too hard, but this one should be a good track to slot in between epic trance songs in a set. I would like to hear it in live, but it's not one I would repeat again and again at home.

Southern Sun has great vocals, and is used really well in Solar Stone Mix, and Tiesto made a pretty good mix as well.

that's it. don't use hype to judge a song.

You are talking out your ass. You are trying to make a critizism out of something that doesn't exist. The record label told him to change the name to Ferry Corsten for the release, and even if it was his idea, why would it matter? Every other artist has released tracks under their name, it's no big deal.

As of a disgrace to Ferry, jesus, what do you want? After years of making some of the best trance around, people nail him for using the same formula over and over, then he makes a different track that's great, is played in clubs all over, gets alot of success, and people bitch about it, wanting the old Ferry back.

U PEOPLE MAKE ME SAD!!!

sorry about that...

Dude, I completely agree with you (on the Southern Sun statement, and the Punk one aswell). Corsten made a quality club tune. Period. He did something different. He created a song that is completely different from uplifting trance, one that shares a more similar formula to a break beat song than an uplifter (i think), and he did an amazing job. He didn't sellout, he just showed us that he can create music, not just a specific genre. I loved Punk from the beginning, he didn't ruin his name at all with this song. The use of the basslines, synths and beats is amazing in it...it really gets you movin.

I hope he makes more tunes like this...but I hope he doesn't make only tunes like this...he's proven that he can make killer uplifters and killer....whatever you wanna call Punk...and should keep up the work in both genre's...variety is always good

I like punk, it is simple yet effective. Cosmic Gate remix is fat as well. Dance Valley theme had a good hymn but was put together wrong if you ask me. Why bash on people in the United States, waht the fuck are we doing wrong. I love Texas. Most countries will fit in Texas, probably yours.

PUNK SUX !! Bad production done by Ferry .. Another example of bad production by famous DJ would be DJ Tiesto - Flight643

As a song to listen at home or in your car punk wouldn't be my first choice, but in a set it sounds very nice, and is very danceable to. I find the older work of Ferry released under the System F name a bit cheesy, Punk is totally new idea that Ferry came up with and u people should have respect for that

punk and flight 643 have a much bigger impact when heard inside a club with a MASSIVE sound system or a car with a very good stereo would do as well. listening to trance through headphones/earphones just don't compare.
