I don't even know what type of music this would be...popular music? Is it rock? Folk music? Not that I'm too terribly concerned with genres, but how do you classify "music" with really boring instrumentation and writing? The lyrics are meaningless and stupid - there is no greater importance behind them than just to suit the flow of the song, it would seem. But people like it, I guess. And they continue to pay money and lavish attention upon the musical acts which fail to actually develop and evolve sound and would rather just cash in on their recycled guitar-twang bullshit.
