Thanks for the suggestions. Hopefully more bike riding and parks next week. Hoping I can make it all the way out to Rouge Valley park, and back!

There's me right there! If i had vacation time off and no real plans to go away anywhere (an event, cottage, to see family in another city, a vacation down south, etc), id just PLOW through a massive shitload of novels...

god, thats heaven right now...

For me, a week long peaceful vacation in mexico where i do nothing but read through five novels in the warm sun would be as highly valued and just as AWESOME to me as a a drunken week long shitshow of a vacation in mexcio with a lot of good friends where all i do is party and drink the entire time.

there are two sides to me and i love both for their different aspects. huge, stark differences between the two, but i find both equally as much of a good time and enjoyable.

Absolutely!!!

Toronto has 'Discovery Walks': http://www.toronto.ca/parks/recreat...cover_index.htm

I've done a couple of these, and you learn so much about your city that you prolly didn't know about. There's PDFs of the walking maps, and tell you how long they will take.

love that site. I did a lot of that in Montreal on st helen's island going through the run-down former Expo 67 buildings. The exploration factor is wow, and also risk factor listening for security guards which roam the area randomly. I spent days there sometimes after work at LaRonde.
