No, I only stuck with 3 characters and rarely had to use any of the others. Hence further proving how shit this game is.

A slow answer to a quick question, but whatever. I also leveled just three characters in the game and left the others out completely. I had Vaan, Balthier and Fran in my "leveled up" team, but it shouldn't really matter that much which ones you use. Just remember to level the ones you use most enough and you should be fine

Yeah, I'm only leveling Balthier, Vaan, Basch, and Fran.

And I guess I still don't think this one is "shit" at all - not as good as 4, 5, 6, or 7 - but nowhere near as awful as 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 10x2 (or whatever the fuck it was called).

I haven't made my mind up on 3 yet

Also, I haven't used gambits at all (well, rarely).

9 was not shit.

I did enjoy Final Fantasy XII, but thanks to levelling up in order to defeat the marks, the final boss battles became hilariously easy and the whole thing ended up as a massive anti-climax. Not that the fairly weak story and characters helped matters much. I didn't get half as caught up in proceedings as I usually do.

i loved this game, still on my second play through trying to finish all the hunts and what not. i thought the fighting in this game was the best, becuas eyou never had to go into that enter battle scene and could run away from enemies when you wanted too instead of all the random attacks. i didnt really feel the story that much, it was aite, but i thought it was one of the best in teh series. the first time i beat it, i only used 3 characters but on my second play through i have the top 3 up at like 70 right now and the other ones at about 49, i havent played for a while though because the hunt i am on in the subterria levels of the ascenion place, the horse never appears.

gambits are the best, it takes away all that going through menus and telling people to attack and what not and like any ally hp <60 curaga and shit like that. i used gambits so much they were one of my favorite features in this game.

Im a great fan of his game, and i definitly think that it is one of the, if not the best in the final fantasy series, what i liked best about the game was its long and diverse, yet all intertwined storyline,

I aggree that the graphics are blocky as hell but it is an old game that i still enjoy playing to this day lol!
