^^My problem with motivation has everything to do with my body type. I workout 2 days a week (as that is what my schedule/motivation allows) and dont lose any weight.
My diet is fantastic, and I workout, but unfortunately my metabolism is at absolute zero and working out 2 days merely maintains my chubby ass, rather than drop any serious poundage. Hence, making it hard to want to go to the gym when there are few results (appearance wise....of course my health is pretty damn good depsite getting all the fat genes from the fam). shitty. I need to find a raquetball place or something to keep me entertained.

I know how you feel, I've pretty much worked out / played sports constantly since I was 12 but there was definitely a period of time when I gained a ton of weight and it took a while to get rid of. I don't know, I genuinely feel slow and down if I don't exercise. Also, I know it's getting colder but I say we take tennis lessons! Ice skating lessons is fun and good for you too...I used to do that.

To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

EXACTLY...that really helps me a lot actually. I go with my co-worker, our gym is in the building that we work in. It's super cheap and my company pays for half and it's literally across the hall from my office so I really have no excuse on why I can't get there
if you ladies want perhaps I could help out with some of the motivation...but then again we'd all probably end up going to different gyms heh..let me get my NYSC Personal trainer thing going and I'll be sure to help you out at NYSC - no problemo =)

I agree with you guys...my problem is I haven't gotten into the full swing of things again and I need that push. In High School I played sports all year and swam in my parents pool all summer. In college we had this brand new state of the art sick gym that I would go to at least 3 times a week more to 4 or 5 and I kept up with it until a few years back. It sucked I started dating Jay and I literally had to pick go to the gym or spend time with him and since we lived 2 hours apart at the time and NEVER got to see each other I slowly stopped going to the gym with the plan to go back and now here it is over 2 years later that I have stopped going and I now want to get back to the gym but it is just so hard to get that motivation again. Nothing excites me anymore. I would love to swim laps but I don't think there is a gym with a pool at it that I could afford. If anyone has ideas on pools in the city I am open to them. Other then that...maybe ways that helped other people get back into the swing of things would be great.
