Mere - I hate to break it to you but I always tell it like it is. I'm not sure what "homework" you are talking about but whoever or wherever you got any positive info about Holmes is a load of bull shit. You wasted your first pick on a washed up running back that has not played a full season in over three years. He is about to go back on injured reserved let alone even make the team. The best case scenario would be be makes the team and is used as a third down back at best. And in case you have not noticed.....LJ just signed a new contract and is the main man in Kansas City....literally crushing Holmes faint hopes of making a lousy comeback. I wish your team luck.....I really do. That pick goes down as the worst I have ever witnessed.

Maybe so...but I still like my team and ended up with most of the players that I wanted, sometimes you take a risk and it pays off and sometimes it doesn't. I still think I have a good team and a lot of good players were left behind in our league anyway. Its only 1 player, not the whole team

and yes Vern I picked him in the 1st round (drafting 9th out of 10 with a pick right after so I wasn't worried...most players had been scooped up anyway by that time.)

But it's not even a risk worth taking.....there is absolutely no upside to drafting him at all. I wouldn't have drafted him in the 15th round. Oh well if it makes ya happy do whatever floats your boat.
