like i said earlier, if you dont mind chnaging the pitch, then isnt something like abletons repitch warp mode perfect for that. There is no sound degredation afaik as it is the same as altering pitch on a turntable.

I always thought that you only get sound quality problems when you want the pitch to stay the same.

Too many people shooting from the hip in this thread (saying what THEY use without any real reason).

Most DAWs use the Elastique library for time stretching.

FL Studio 7 should be the best, as it has the complete license, which is the most comprehensive. Cubase 4 has the cheapest version and Ableton uses the stanard version.

You can use Melodyne from drums, vocal, melodic line...


Ive just tried this its superb nice one mate, im still going carry on learning other ways to time stretch with the sequencer's I use as I think that is important, but this tool has helped me match my vocals to tracks with ease, and change the way the vocals sound which is a bonus.
