I normally like to listen to some happy melodic or epic trance in the morning, right when the sun is about to rise. (Example: Orbital-Halcyon + On + On). I found The Thrilseekers-Nightmusic Vol 1. cd 2, to be more of the morning music type for me, and I've had some fond memories playing it after driving back home from a night full of partying.
But I must say I really like playing Luke Fair's Balance 011 cd 1 around late morning early afternoon. His style of house is laid-back, chill, but with a subtle amount of groove in it. I always just want to sit in a lawnchair and watch people walk by with a mojito in hand everytime I hear it.
And night time is reserved for some soft progressive breaks and progressive house with either funk or tech elements in it. Deep house/techno/minimal saved for late nights an hour or two before I go to sleep.
