if you really want to wait for the 8925 by all means please do. One thing I've noticed is you've got to be comfortable with your purchase, especially since HTC phones are expensive.
I debated for months about it getting rid of my Sony Ericsson P910 and getting the HTC S710. I'm glad I made the switch.
Before the Sony Ericsson I had 8125 from HTC. I absolutely love the phone for exception of the Mobile Windows 5 professional platform really sucked.
I tell myself that I was going to wait until mobile Windows 6 Standard Edition came out based off of these criteria.
I knew I'd no longer needed to have the ability to create and edit MS document; Unless you really do need to create documents on the go.
Perhaps i should be doing this on my laptop and not my PDA which is the whole point of mobile windows professional 5 and mobile windows professional 6.
I decide to go for the HTC S710 because it came with mobile windows six standard which does actually allow me to view and edit Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Adobe PDF's. As well as basic editing of these files.
The Standard Edition is much more straight forward than the professional edition there is less steps taken to do the same tasks.
also mobile window six standard is not a touch screen format. I realize that I spent more time searching for what I wanted because I was forced to use the stylus versus the directional keypad which the S710 has..
mobile window six standards is much more intuitive than professional 5. However if you really do need to have the ability to create and edit documents in your PDA phone then by all means hold out for the 8925.
But I have to sayyour choice to go with a HTC phones, great!!!! if I can figure out how to buy stock in this company I would!
