the main think is that you hallucinate. Your body goes in a state of craziness, you heart goes nuts, you feel like you drank 2 kegs of beer, you feel high, to some extent, your gonna be burning hot.

After the hallucinations wear off, your gonna get the same kinda feeling as being hanged over, only worse. You're gonna feel like shit for most of the day, your best friend is you toilet for the day and let's not forget that you won't be able to see well for at least 6 hours once the substance is flushed from your body. something similar to the recovering phase is sitting in a chair and spinning for 2 minutes and then stop.

When you piss, it's gonna feel like your pissing acid, same for when you take a dump.

Finally, you won't be able to rest or at least sleep it off, the only exhilarating thing is the hallucinating phase.

There you have it, the one and only experience I had with DXM.

2nd - pleasant... unusual thinking, speech is affected, psychoactive definitely
3rd - semi-hallucinating...(depends though), robowalk, slow speech, dissasociative
4th - hallucinating...OUT OF BODY experiences (about 600-1,000 mg)

i forgot the last stage...i thing it's sigma? however it's very dangerous and i wouldn't even attempt it.

my most notable experiences and memories of those trips are:

my gait: i walked just like ozzy osbourne when i tripped

my speech: i spoke japanese and it took forever for me to speak a sentence in english. (you can definitely feel the affect of dextromethorphan and the language part of your brain)

time: things seemed like events were in a loop... an hour felt like 4. i looked at the clock and it would be 5pm. later on, i look expecting it to be 10 and it's only 7.

i never forgot one trip segment i had when i was sitting on the couch, and i had the semi-hallucination of a half life police officer beating me with a stun gun.
