I haven't heard a set like this in years, it's really nice, and the best thing, is that I don't knwo exactly what is he doing with the tracks.
I guess he is taking ableton to the next level.

His technique is unique.

i don't understand why he has all that motivation with ableton, it doesn't teach or inspire anyone pretty much. Its audio is very watery like with huge amounts of distortion. Doing all that trickery on an imac doesn't really mean anthing if it doesn't touch one's soul. And removing climatic breakdowns by warping track is a dis to the artist who made the tracks and using a master tempo is just lazyness. The old school hypnotic sasha using analogue vinyl was the dopest

Sasha is not quite poo on toast ( ), but he's definitely the most overrated DJ going around.

I can think of literally 100 other DJs I would rather see.

You obviously haven't seen a proper live set using Ableton.

Warping a track is different from removing a breakdown.

Some small effects, some side-cgaining but other than that, not much.

It is more practical to do most of the looping and editing in ableton but it is completely possible on CDJs.

when a track is warped, the waveform is stretched because warp markers are added, before it is warped the original version has tempo changes for the intro, outro, climax ect. When you have an ableton set, the drive is gone, its like dull and slow.
