The officers used the "Drive Stun" on the Taser which is a compliance method whereas being "tased" is for incapacitation. Most people do not know the difference between a "stun gun" and a Taser. The "Drive Stun" on the X-26 (police issued Taser) delivers a local shock with the front of the device when the individual is already on the ground but will not comply, this is more like a stun gun as it does not significantly effect the central nervous system. Being shot with the X-26 is reserved for combatant individuals or individuals armed with a knife or blunt object. The electrodes pierce the skin and typically imbed an inch or so and tap directly into your muscles. When the current is delivered the muscles in your body contract and there is nothing that you can do about it. Being Tased doesn't hurt although it is a strange feeling, almost like trying to benchpress more weight than can. Tasers are great and save lives. I would rather be shot with a Taser than take a baton strike to the knee or ribs.

He could have had the 250 lb officer dig his knee into the back of his neck or three officers tweak his arm and possibly break it or a "DNA scraper" on the side of his neck or even a nice point blank shot of OC spray while being held down. He is lucky he got the Taser.

heard it on the radio, the guy was definitely over expressing the "tazing" when u get shocked with a tazer u would definitely fall straight to the ground and wont be able to scream like a bitch like he did. He definitely didnt get the full force of the taze gun as u can see he's screaming like a lil bitch by being tazed... seriously a tazer cripples u, not make u cry like a bitch

Where was the moderator in the auditorium? If he did cut someone off the moderator should have handled that not the police officers.

In my view, the officers arrested him because they didn't like the question the guy was asking and didn't want Kerry the chance to answer it. The question is a valid one about Kerry's membership in the secret society Skull and Bones, which he does belong to and had admitted to it in the past. If anyone thats causing disruption, it's the police officers that interrupted, causing chaos and violating the First Admendment of Free Speech.

The officers then went on to violate more law, tring to arrest the guy without reasonable and probable cause for violating any criminal offense. When asked, "what are you arresting me for" several times, none of the officers could answer and all continued assaulting him. Finally when he is subdued with the Tazer and handcuffed, then he's told that he's arrested for Resisting Arrest, which was unlawful to begin with.

We are seeing more and more of this attack on our freedom and right to free speech. Police brutallity seems to be more common. The public is being conditioned to accept and go along with it. It seems to be working obviously as more people are aggreeing to this aggressive force by police officers. This guy was made an example to other law abiding citizens to fear authority and to submitt to them without questions when they come to arrest you, whether there is a reason to or not, is irrelevant. You are being programmed to believe this is right, for when the police state comes, the general public can be dealt with easily. It's time to open your eyes and see the world for not what you see on tv but what it really is. Your freedom and way of life in America is slipping away.

the problem with people today is that everyone thinks they're special. this is what we've been told since we were little, that "we're special" and "there's nobody out there just like you." now people think they don't have to wait their turn, wait at the red light, be courteous others, etc. people are in such a rush to get on with their lives and get their point across they don't even notice all they people they step on in doing so. sad state of things, really.
