Renaissance, has shifted direction. Good on them.

its trendy to make 16 + minute tracks these days.

some good elements in there.

Long tracks are nothing new. Back in the 70's it wasn't surprising to see a 15 to 20 minute disco song. Here are some examples:

They havent really shifted direction, they just have no direction in particular. A single by Pete Tong followed by one from Digweed with forthcoming singles from Steve Lawler and James Zabiela. A mishmash of styles and genres I'm sure you'll agree.

Or you can also use Emerson, Lake & Palmer as an example if you wanna talk about 70's (not disco of course).

Yes.

Steve...I'd imagine it only comes when you purchase the cd because the track is actually featured as the audio with the accompanying dvd.

33% done with it so far and this is absolutely killer. I think I'm finally warming up to this tech-house influenced strand of prog that's been pushed in recent times by the big jocks, I'm not surprised that the one to do it was Diggers. Can't wait to see where this is gonna end up leading. Conjures up fond memories for me of "Set In Stone".
