yeah Digweed is a really nice guy. I don't really know him from a hole in the wall but I've met him a few times after shows and he is shy and very nice. He takes pictures with everyone and is very nice even if it's 4 or 5am and he's got to jump on a plane.
I've talk to paul van dyk a couple times too - he doesn't know me much from a whole in the wall either but he's always nice and signs things and stuff. I get the feeling with him that he just feels 'older' than his fans and sort of looks at things from a business perspective. I've played with oakenfold a couple times and he is as advertised (at least the past couple years). I'm not a big DJ just a resident and when he played at one of the clubs I play at he just walks in, doesn't really talk to anybody, throws in some CD's and plays a few songs with absolutely no emotion. no effort. It wouldn't be such a big deal if the music was good but it was horrible both times. Armin van buuren is really cool. Desyn masiello too. The best guy ever is Lee Burridge - he's so good at playing records he doesn't have to spend a lot of time working things out and actually hangs out and has the best time while he's playing at the same time!
