i did this when audiorealism first came out must of been 5 years ago. It actually scares me that you guys are asking about acid lines as trance producers. If you can't programm acid , you sure as hell ont' be able to program a melody on anything else.

The acid sound in the OP isn't really an acid sound. Its more like a unison lead with an amplitude modulator on it (gate) and an auto filter. But its quite hard for me to clone. At least I'm having alot of trouble. I'll try to get closer and then post the steps but I'm still a ways off.

If there is any other part of the song where the acid line cuts through easier, I'd like to hear it. I find theres alot going on in the original sample.

The Acid is alright, but it was the work you've done on that red alert two battle taunt that made my day.

What did you use to slice up that vocal so well?

no slicing

just battery and midi controls to change the loop start and length.
