Pioneer stuff has always has been, and likely will always be, overpriced. Especially considering the mediocre build quality.

if people are complaining about the price of the 700, can't wait to see the comments on the new pioneer gadget, svm1000.

then again, I can't wait to see a good demo of it either.

The build quality has come a long way since the 3000/600 years.

I noticed my DJM 800 has too much bass. Does anyone else experience that? I'm starting to think I should have bought a xone 92.

i have been back and forth w/ the 800 and the 92. they both have their strengths. my favorite thing about the 800 is the layout. i love the way it is put together. i love the sound/filters on the xone. my only gripe about the 800 is the filters... my only gripe on the xone is the layout... i would love to see them combined.

the 700 is a joke wtf?!
