Don't think they do it in the UK much at all, mostly a North American/Japanese thing to do.
Winter in NY, a hired SLK... brrr! I'd throw the heater up to tactical nuclear levels and still get out of it with hypothermia driving to work and that was in a good convertible. I can only imagine how horrific it would be in a bad convertible.

i know its not ideal. my roommate tried to lift and upgrade his and its not as cheap nor easy as a jeep etc. but for winter, reliability et al, i would do it.

i imagine someone whom doesnt know whether a corolla or a japanese car is better, its likely too much effort.

i know people whove delivered pizza buying a 200 dollar car, driving it for a month and then getting something else. honestly i think thats what he is left with without loans and getting something reliable and proper.

which is also why i have no car! |
