Friend of mine just got a Sacramento State (California) Engineering professor fired. He had a meeting with the head of the department and a week later he was canned. If you'd like me to get more details as to the order of what he did, let me know.

I'm really sorry to hear stuff like this, mainly because it has so much to do with shaping your future. I'm mostly citing your comment about the motorola layoffs.

I suppose I was fortunate with an awesome physics department. 2-3 of them travel to Tibet and teach the Dalai Lama and his monks physics a few times a year.

Fuck me i must be lucky. Or not I owe like 20k or so in loans but that doesn't bother me at all.

more details would be awesome. im not really trying to get them fired, i just want them to actually try to teach rather than just pointing at something and talking about how we like potatos crispy from the oven rather than a microwave. seriously.
