Assuming you are talking about a hardware audio mixer, it doesn't matter much. Traktor isn't going to "sync up" with an audio mixer, just output sound to it.

get a hardware mixer for sure, just so when you take the plunge into hardware djing you'll already have a mixer ready to go.
