i actaully think its an amazing trick....seems like he did the same thing in his politics of dancing cd....makes it easier to mix from song to song...while at the same time giveing all his musik a fresh original feel.

Paul did not put any additional hats on punk. It's just the sound produced by the mixing with 'Deep Emotion' which has a high hat as well.

Paul Van Dyk reworks a majority of the records he plays to give him self a unique sound, not to mention the vast number of toys he has a lot of the djs like to use Electrix pro stuff I know digweed uses it and i know sasha uses a kaoss pass . And to who ever said he records a set on vinyl, it would be very hard to fit that much music on one record i think the avg record nowadays only holds 12minat 33rpm and 8min or so at 45.
