hehe, yes low BPM's..now here i just was wondering...at home yes we can hear low bpm's, but are you saying that they are low bpm's of tek-house live as well? i doubt that...
as for me, im not some fucken wonder genius here, i experienced many genders already, not only trance, but jungle, dnb, house, and breaks..and Joy's set did seem to me to have tek-house elements, but maybe it wasn't that? maybe it was something new? or was it just plain simple techno? after the event you come home and you start to think wat really it was...i just care that he spun a really fookin banging set, rather it was tek-house or techno, dont care about that but right now im listening to some of his sets, and they really are closely to banging tek-house/techno lol, ah fuck dont know myself man..
peace man

ID'ed another song from Flemings set..he spun it around close to 2am..
Mantra feat. Lydia Rhodes - Away (John Creamer & Stephan K Remix)
massive progressive track, too bad he spun it a bit early, still i think 2am-3am was the last hour of the best progressive

All in all it was a good night, I'm not a big fan of progressive, especially the boring ass kind that takes you no where, but John threw down some hard banging progressive so I enjoyed that, and it was nice to hear him throw down "Sunset On Ibiza" towards the end of his set.

But the best part of the night had to be JOY, he just ripped it up with some hard dirty techno, I stayed right until the end, it was just one crazy track after the other. All I have to say is that I"m really looking forward to the new releases that will be coming off BXR in the next few months. I also got to meet him, thanks to tatgirl, and I can honestly say that he's one of the nicest people I've met, not only is he a great DJ but he's a great guy too, down to earth and friendly. I really hope he comes back soon, and I hope he brings Mauro along with him next time

Hey all...

I had a great time last night.. I met more TA's than I ever expected I could.. At least 15-20 TA's last night...

I wanted to take pictures of all the TA's there, but for some reason I didn't get started on this till like after 2AM or something.. So I have pictures of all the ones I could find, and they're online here .

I also took some random club shots... During Joy's set, I went and asked the girl doing the lighting (who was DAMN HOT by the way) to put the laser on for me, so I could take some pics (as the lasers seemed to go off around 3 or so, and never came back on.) She turned them on for me, but just left em pointing straight... So I don't have any good laser shots from the latter part of the evening... Anyway, all those shots are available here .

I thought the crowd was ok, a little crazy close to the DJ booth (people jumping around like apes and knocking people over...)

With regards to that guy who kissed someones girlfriend, I saw that clown.. He was there 2 weeks ago, and asked my sister if she wanted some E, and while doing so stroked her hand (while not as bas as a kiss, it's still rather creepy.)

Fuzion played a great set... The skipping really sucks in that room....

That's about it... Enjoy the pics... (Oh, and theres one TA's name I couldn't remember, so if someone knows his name, let me know, and I'll update the pics.)
As to what I thought of the night: I thought it was great... John '00 Flemming's set was superb.. He spun a nice variety, and changed it up enough that it never got dull... I believe the version of Childern he played was the 2k2 remake but I'm not 100% sure... I didn't really like Joy's set, but that's simply not my kind of music, so that doesn't mean much...

I look like such a crackhead in ma pic. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww! lol Oh well, what matters is System was awesome! I have only previously been there on Sat (twice) when they were spinning house...just plain blah house (it got good later when harder stuff war thrown on) but it's REALLY refreshing to hear some trance come out of that place! If more parties are like that there I will go more often. WOO HOO! It was nice seeing Blue Neon and friend again, cool meeting you sos2galvatron, haning out with Desidel and Sylphin was fun as always. And running into Swamper again, damn man you're just everywhere lol. Cheers to more TA nitez! Later.
Chris.

Wow- what can I say? I'm a little delayed in posting, as I've had a busy weekend entertaining my friend Amy (aka Trinity) from Cleveland. I'm sure most of you met her, as it seems she met half the club anyways! We met our last night at the WMC, & I invited her up here. I made her come when I heard about this party, & boy is she glad she did! We had SO much fun that night!
Started off in the side room, meeting TA's. Always nice to put faces to names- I especially appreciate trance_nerd taking pics. Fleming played an incredible set- the energy was insane.
It was really unfortunate that so many people left b4 or during Joy's set, but I know many people were tired & had wished he played first. I was so surprized to see him up there scratching! He played amazing tracks- I found myself running into the booth many times to get song ID's. Many were on cd- remixes of un-named yet to be released tracks, even! Eventually, I just planted myself in there for the rest of the event. He even gave me the vinyl right off the turntable of one older track he played that I liked!
Being the BXR fan that I am, my highlight of the evening was Joy. He & I have been emailing for a couple months, & we finally met that night. What a guy! So down to earth, sweet, & kind, & let's not forget: incredibly talented. He brought me a nice bag of BXR & Metempsicosi goodies- vinyl, cd's, stickers, t-shirt, etc... He was very gracious to meet all of you. We hit it off really well all night, & I was able to drive him & his friend in my 'Picottomobile' to their hotel, & later saw them off to the airport. It was sad to see my friend leave so soon.
I really hope he gets to come play in Toronto again, and soon. I'd love to see an entire party with BXR DJ's, but maybe I'll have to go to Italy if that doesn't happen here.....
Thank you Breathe for another wonderful party! -Nat
