You don't want to go over 60C as it could shorten the life of your components. Get some case fans. Try maybe putting one in the front to suck air in and one in the back to blow air out.

If you can take the entire plastic front of the case off and get down to just the metal frame there should be space for a case fan.

On my case there are two spots on the back, one spot on the front, and one spot on the top to mount case fans.

That pic you posted looks like your CPU is spiking up to 100%. Not really sure what is going on there. You said this is a new computer right? Have you downloaded and installed all the up to date drivers for the motherboard/chipset, video card, amd drivers if you have amd, etc...?

Your cpu should stay at just a few percent when using a web browser. It is though to know what is going on without having the computer in front of me.

Click the processes tab and try to see if you can find which specific process you are running that is spiking your CPU.

As for the voltage being low that would only affect your stability. Your mobo should have picked the correct voltage for your processor, but if it didn't you can look up how much voltage your processor needs and manually set it in the BIOS. You really only need extra voltage if you are overclocking. But I still don't see what it would have to do with this.

A spike like that is pretty normal when you open a program, but then it flattens back out, which is what happened with yours too. If I open FF, it jumps to like 80% and then back to 20% constantly.

I'm not sure why it's red though

EDIT - Oh right, top 10% is red iirc. Hmm, don't know if it's normal for quads to jump that high on a start.

I've wasted a lot of time researching what could have possibly been wrong and today I finally decided I was going to sell the computer on ebay.
Well my brother asked to see the computer before I decided to sell it. He's the one who I said knows everything about computers. He read all the responses in this thread and just shook his head no. He explained how benchmarks ARE relevant but that the average person doesn't know how to run them outside the operating system so thats why I had no purpose doing them.
He also explained how a soundcard would be beneficial but also why he knew that wasn't the problem and that anyone trying to diagnose my problem in a forum would essentially be wasting thier time because they couldn't have any idea unless they could actually look at my computer.
Well long story short he ran the official benchmark software on my computer and saw it was operating wayyy below its capabilities which I already knew by using it but the benchmark software I had used said it was running at full speed which wasn't the case.
It took him about 2 seconds to go into the bios and reset the computer to its default settings. Than we reran the bench mark and it was running at its full speed.
So I went into Fruity to compare it to my laptop and it was absurdly quick like I knew it should be. Than I realized I had to reset it to multithread and the cpu instantly dropped like another 10 units. So now the computer is running extraordinarily quick and I'll be keeping it for a long time. I'm happy I bought it, I would def recommend the specific clone I bought to anyone. Its wayyy faster than my laptop and I spent a lot less for it too.
Thanks everyone who tried to help I appreciate it.

Really enjoyed reading that... At times it seems tranceaddicts only full of jerks...

Somebody comes along needing some help with his setup... and instantly he gets flamed by all the other users.....

l-o-l.. a realtek chip can take more than two vst instruments at a time... Ive got a dedicated soundcard, but the realtek on the mb wont produce crackling until u've loaded at least 15 instances of vanguard.

I guess it is unreasonable to expect someone, who is attempting to DIY their own computer, to be able to set up something as easy as the BIOS.

BIOS isn't exactly the easiest of things to set up. Not everyone is at your uber geek level you know

then they shouldn't be trying to build a computer themselves and complain when people jump to the most likely reason for the problem.

Except it wasn't the most likely reason for the problem at all, as described above.

Try this. Hit start, then run, then type in msconfig and press enter. Go the the tab that says startup and disable everything. Restart your computer and see if the CPU is still spiking.
