Thanks for keeping this thread alive guys. I haven't read and viewed enough of the counter and further supportive material to form a complete opinion, but as far as I can see, the entire argument, from all three subsections of the film, can be argued from many different perspectives, both pro and con.

Calling it leftist propaganda on the other hand...weak.

just watched this movie, the religion part should be in a different movie. The only way it fits in is suggesting that the common man has been lied to for the last couple millenniums.

Dont know if anyone caught CNN a few weeks back when Vice President Dick Chaney was up for impeachment. Supposedly there may be another 911 in the mix to allow us to go to war with Iran. He is a large shareholder of halliburton the defense contractor/oil services company.

Its unclear how much of 911 conspiracy is true or just conspiracy, however the explosions on lower floors seem to be legitimate along with firefighter testimonies.

look up the bilderberg conference it will blow your mind, many americans are finally noticing what is going on. what does everyone think of plans for the North American Union in 2010?

The sitting-on-the-fence statement posted above is about as weak as calling it "leftist propaganda" (both statements have about the same value...).

I have seen the movie. There are very good reasons for calling this film leftist/conspiracy-theorist propaganda. Any story can be woven into what looks like the truth so long as enough "facts" are salted here and there and certain commonalities are brought to light. This does not mean the story is true and nor does it mean the story has true meaning or real importance (as presented).

I'll happily dig into the movie - but only when I have enough time to properly present things and actually respond (which is not now)... Many of the facts are not debatable - however the conclusions the film attempts to draw the viewer into are. If anything the film makers are clever storytellers with an (obvious) intent.

What I find interesting is what you just described. Sowing facts is something all factions in all human history do. I am definitely not implying that we should all disband into wild packs of conspiracy theorists. I'm merely objectively looking at both sides, with no particular angst towards each.

I'm just interested in learning more about the fact that everyone, every political unity, relies on their own 'truthful' propaganda, but to different degrees of extremity.

it's a good movie in that it introduces people to 2 important parts (relgion, central banks) - I exclude 911 because those theories have been debunked.

there are better movies however go into more detail on these topics. hpoefully zeitgeist stirs up enough curiosty in people to look them up... if anyone is interested here are some good ones...

Yeah exactly, which is why I find it strange that the 911 theories have been 'debunked'. There really is a lot of evidence to suggest either scenario. Ultimately, whatever you chose to believe, I think most who really look at the entirety of the evidence, including the Osama Bin Laden links and whatnot can see that there are some fairly obvious holes in the entire "terrorist" scenario presented as final word.
