or next time say he can have some, but you are planning to eat it tonight, tomorrow, or whenever so then he is forced to leave some or provide you with a meal.

I am under the impression that there are only a handful of people that have the personality and behavior of being a good roommate. I am barely a decent one. luckily I was enough of a decent roommate to stick with my one buddy in college, he was a good one. (or maybe he had no other options!)

This must be a college / early 20s thing. My roommates and I don't have issues like this at all.

Either that or there are just a lot of people who suck, and I've been fortunate enough to avoid them.

I don't see how the GA Tech people function. They get a small bedroom with 3 bunkbeds.

Granted, I'm a spoiled brat living at the largest dorm in the country right now.
