Next week is Nintendo Wii's turn.. I wonder who will do what to their mother

I don't understand this american thing, you can't raise a child by forbidding him to do something, taking something away, grounding. What the fuck?
EDIT: By that, I am not saying that the situation isn't fucked up. Yes the kid's crazy and his actions are unreasonable.
But then again, only in America.

anyways... his mom sounds like a huge bitch and i can imagine that he feels trapped in his own home with how controlling she was. he was grounded for WEEKS at a time, they took away all of his toys, they took away his communication ways...
what the fuck else is he going to do? any psychologist want to fill us in on what happens when a person has no productive way to vent his/her frustration?

I don't see how grounding does anything at all. The problem is theres really no discipline at all. In my opinion.

That's probably because american parents imagine grounding as discipline, they think making their children hate them would help.
