Frankly, dirty tech just makes a WHOLE lot more sense.

Definitely agreed.

dirty, sleazy, coked up, fashion chic, glitzy glammy grimy santorum house.

I blame Tiga for the imagery.

The word 'dirty' is just as moronic. The first time I ever remember hearing someone make a reference to that was back when the Steve Lawler bandwagon came into town. I'll never understand people's obsession with over classifying things. It's like a desperate need to cling or belong to something, and that can't be done until it's been labelled. Pathetic.

Bosh House is what it has also been called, but not in the derrogitory sense of the words real definition.

And to people calling it "trend" house, its been around for a long time. Anyone remember a little track called flatbeat?

That's what they called "electro" trance a few years back too.

Yeah, because 1 slightly similar track was popular a decade ago must mean it's been around all the time.

Well if that track was out in 99 is it not safe to say that the sound was there back then? I think the real big emergence of it was 2004-2005 with tunes like Beta Boy and Red Dress. I think late 2005 shit hit the fan though with angello/ingrosso/axwell releasing like 50 billion tracks at that time. But hey, thats just what I can remember.

and wanna talk about trend? Look at this new flood of tech house and minimal. Half of it is HORRIBLE (and yes I know thats my opinion), but there is def some minimal/tech house out there that I can get down to.
