When I saw Crysis on my PC, I shat myself and thought, i'll need to spend a good 1200 upgrading just to get it playing smoothly...ps3 and wii are king in my home...anyone up for a fifa08 online asskicking!?

that's always been the way. but PC's are also much more scaleable than consoles; thus you can play the newest games, but they might not look quite as nice. if youre an xbox player and you want the newest, shiniest game, you have to buy a 360

when things run like shit on a console, there's nothing you can do about it.

Oh- and i FINALLY have my copy of FA in my hot little hands! tonight is going to be epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lalalalalala!

it really was

deepest strategy experience you'll find in a traditional RTS.

dude gameplay is quality....i mean the freedom of being able to bounce of every wall, climb them, dart off them is amazing.

you know there will always be a critic, i believe the uniqueness is what should be highlighted rather than its supposed flaws.

alright so i went out and bought this, install took about 45 mins :/
played a couple of skirmishes against easy AI
then had a game against pkc, kept getting these de-sync errors or whatever the whole game. slowdown was painful whenever a battle started pkc 1, philby 0. we played a second game but that was even worse, on my screen pkc disconnected and i won, on his screen it was the other way around lol. then he tells me afterwards there was a patch i could have downloaded that would have fixed the de-sync hehe. ill have to wait till we upgrade, i couldnt play it, then prepare for some reports on pkc losing painfully

after playing this online in 1v1 ranked for a few months now, i can safely say that this is the best game (for me) of all time.

not even at the height of my Q3 obsession (and tremendous ability ) did i get the rush i get from a close 1v1 in FA. and it just edges out tie fighter, the previous title holder for the last 12 years.

anyone that likes their RTSs should be playing this game. it needs a few changes here and there (bugs and balancing) but on the whole it is pretty solid.
