I'd rather listen to emissions on loop than 5 minutes of pretty much any radio station in LA.

yep.

it's basically a completely forgettable track about nothing, certainly doesn't deserve at all to be getting big sales, but still.. i'd much rather listen to this dullness than listen to Filo & Peri - The Anthem or stuff like that.

The difference is that shit or not, the Anthem is actually a complete song.

All of Dubfire's efforts sound like he made it halfway and said "Meh - Ritchie will sell it for me."

"Lol" indeed.
they weren't

It's all related. The crap will sell on its own. Since Ali is well established in EDM, this helps for M_nus to be exposed to a new audience, and in return Ali gets a new outlet for his "new sound"
Props to Ali's (and his producer) and M_nus label management for a wise business decision? How long will they milk this cash cow for? who knows. It's to the point where musical integrity has been long forgotten. Seems like now it's all about pushing those numbers with mediocre, soulless, uninspired material.

in the other thread I was voicing my displeasure with 'roadkill' but I must say those two recent mixes out on toolroom are pretty cool.

as for this song, i don't see what's THAT bad about it. It's tough for me to hate a song when the song I listened to before it was Robbie Rivera's remix of The Fray - How to Save a Life. tech house is the hot thing now and there are going to be lots of mediocore releases trying to imitate a style, this is one of the many. It just happens to be made by producer who became huge for a totally different style of music.

It's like he's trying to make kind of a bodzin type song. They aren't the most imaginative pieces of music out there but I kind of like the basslines in this and roadkill. good for mixing, but yeah i wouldn't want to listen to 8 straight minutes. Or M_nutes in this case
