Dude, I dunno about you but the ONE thing that I love most about vinyl is the hands on correcting. Pitch bending is fucking boring.

I never touch the platter anyway except to cue...

It's not a required feature obviously, just a nice add-on I think a lot of people would have liked.

That's the SL1200MK4 that I was referring to. The MK4 is also geared towards audiophiles and it has all that plus more.

Personally I ride the pitch, but only on my 1200's. On my CDJ-1000's, I never do that. If it's drifting, I pitch bend then adjust the pitch. And nearly everyone I've seen does the same.

Pitch bend is highly controllable, touching the platter or riding the pitch is less controllable.

There's several ways to pitch bend on the 1200's. One trick is pressing the 33 & 45 buttons at the same time. ;

Haha, that only works if you happen to be on a 33 and need to speed up. Doesn't work the other way

you know it is possible to drop songs in the mix bang on without any need for correcting after you match them, I can do it on my TTX's no problem, it just takes loads of practice, and even if you do need to correct the beats you can get an idea of how much you need to brush the side of the platter or nip and twist the center spindle, again it takes practice but you can feel it after a while, I always found turntables eeasier then CD's but thats just me
