sorry barry. that is just untrue. a len faki minimal track will work a dancefloor more powerfully than most other genres. its in the mixing.

I'm not sure how he came up but I was assuming we were discussing his Creating a Track From Scratch for Future Music magazine.

In which it seems like he just opened Logic for the first time.

I remember the first time I ever heard minimal...I was bored. Very bored. The buzz that I had going was slowly dissapearing. Basically what i'm trying to say is that I dont feel as minimal is appropriate in a club...ATLEAST AT PEAK HOUR. I think it's good warm up music when people are first getting to the venue, but its just not the type of music that makes me want to jump around and go crazy. To produce music in general is not easy. It doesnt matter if its EDM or fuccin country. Music is unique in every way, and not every one is going to like it. Just dont ever conform and dare to be different!

Steve angello isn't minimal - he mainly makes house with some electro house influences. Although alot of producers in this area make tunes for all the (too many) sub genres like progressive house, minimal, tech house etc, Steve angello doesn't touch anything in the minimal area.

Try searching for the following, they are more clubbier examples and the glenn morrison one could be considered progressive house.

Anything by plastikman
David West - Welsh Morphology (Charles Gudagafva Remix)
John Tejeda - The End Of It All (Original Mix)
Glenn Morrison - No Sudden Moves (Original Mix)
Kanio - Spandex (Original Mix)
