i missed it, the tv with HBO in my house is the tv that my girl occupies and i only use when she's not home. anyway, whether baseball made it illegal or not is not really important because in this country someone can't take steroids with a valid medical reason. I'm sure "hitting more homeruns" isn't a valid medical reason. So if barry received the roids from a doctor under a prescription, it was not a valid prescription in accordance with the law. Therefore, he is still a cheater.
i always have to laugh when people say that steroids weren't banned in baseball. Ok, well, steroids are banned in the US (without valid medical reasons), and the last time i checked, Federal Law preempts the MLB collective bargaining agreement. Normally, people only get steroids when they have chronic illnesses. Almost no injury you receive while playing sports will allow a person to receive steroids in recovery (as far as i know).
