And the opposite of this is why people oppose this tax cut. The reason many are against is that while the poor and middle class will recieve a small benefit, the rich will gain a lot more. For sake of example, If you spend 10 grand in GST applicable sales, your saving for the year will be $100, but if you can spend 200 grand, then your tax break has swollen to $2000. The middle class, are the ones that really deserve tax credits. I fund the poor's social programs, and the rich's tax breaks.
