^^^ Nonsense. Presta was terrific yesterday. Nathan and Jon Jon were great too. My surprise of the day goes to Baby Joel. He just plain ripped it.
Well that's good to hear he's improved. Baby Joel was ultra super fantastic

ummm, your wrong....they were billed as the roaches for nyd. presta's flight was delayed, so carlo was asked to come in and fill in for presta who would take a later set, and nathan would play later on his own.
exactly the answer I was looking for (and found shortly after I posted that question)
The music until 1pm was horrible. Dark, depressing and demotivating.
The music after that was awesome.

agreed.
i was sitting there when morrison came on. from the first track he dropped my friend and i looked at eachother and he said 'this guy is going to punch us in the face'.
i agreed and went up to the booth to talk to morison . i said ' i have only heard the first 4 minutes of your set and i already know you are going to drop the set of the day. you are going to rip the roof off this place'
sure enough, he brought it- big time.
awesome. that set made my day.
a good, genuine, pleasant guy too.

The term "circuit" for me tends to remind me of repeating squeaky tribal horns... This isn't the best example but get the points across. Ralph Falcon immediately comes to mind...
I walked in around 12:30... the place was so packed... and the coat check line-up was so huge we decided to just run back to the car and put our jackets in there. Apparently the line did not die since 4am.
Jon set was fab!
But the set of the day for me was Peter Presta's... bring on the bongos baby!
Didn't stay to hear the end of Nathan's set.. was way too tired and I must admit partied out after Sasha and Digweed.
Wish I was around for Glen Morrison's set though... love the dark proggy beats.
I had much more fun last year... but there were many contributing factors. Heat, partied out etc.
The best part about the day was how many friends were there...
xoxox... until next year... possibly

yeah that too. the 4/4 beat that doesn't seem to change for about 12 hours. synth basta. the horns.
best example of this is SM Trax- Got The Groove ( SM in motion Mix)
or Camisra- Let me show you
this was the track that was chosen for us to preform to a few years back when i got invited with some flaggers from dallas to preform @ Nation IV in thailand.
i love both tracks... but if u want to see the man pit of Fly explode... or any large party in the states... drop these at peak time...

I was there for 2 hours only and I only stayed for jons set which was AMAZING!!!
I had no desire to keep partying after Sasha & Digweed but I am glad I went and hung out with everyone for a bit...last year zone was way better for me especially in terms of heat factor
