I have tried the new model Technics and they are a little too bulky for me, but I know a lot of people that use them and say they are great.

those are what Hawtin uses

They look like they might swivel too much though; I still like the kind with the anchor swivels (I'm totally making up words right now!). My roomie has kind where the ear parts flop in all directions; I like them to bend and twist but not go everywhere.

LOL, I'm just gonna try them on and see which pair goes better with my outfit.

LOLOL I kid! I kid!

well since you don't actually DJ out anywhere, it's not that big a deal. Just get some decent ones that are comfortable for cheap.

I've never had a problem with them swivelling too much but you can also lock them in place to avoid that all together

But I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes our house and our house music and you see no one man owns house because house music is a universal language spoke and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body and as I told you before this is our house and our house music. hell yea, I sometimes produce in mine too. Very natural response in the mids, clear highs, accurate lows (not too boomy, but strong).
