When building your overviews, select a range that's the closest to your tracks. For instance, if all your tracks are EDM, I would select my range to be 88-175. Than all your tracks will be BPM'd correctly. You can BPM tracks individually or in batches. I BPM my hip hop tracks at a much smaller range 68-135, and my rock tracks at a higher range 98-195.

You can always rebuild the overviews to erase the old bpm's and get the new ones. That way you don't have to do the math.

traktor scratch and numark virtual vinyl are best ones

traktor leads in quality while numark owns in latency (zero latency feature)

I used to use it a few years ago with a mouse and keyboard before I bought my cdjs and mixer. I taught myself a ot on it in terms of the basics of mixing (beatmatching, phrasing, eqing) and it was a pretty simple transition to hardware.

I've since added Torq to the equation.

Torq

I use Torq, it works great and it is very simple to use, never had a problem with it, and although I'm not a pro, I know professional DJs from my country who also use Torq.
Since I never used Serato, I'm not in position of giving you an opinion about which is better.

Awesome. I know that the VDJ program does a lot and i wouldn't mind having 2CDJS and a Mixer but i don't have the money to make the transition yet. I do have a Behringer BCD 2000. It's a mp3 controler that i have mapped to VDJ. At first it crashed when i was setting it up, however after i got it configured it is great. I don't have to touch the mouse or keyboard at all. I noticed that my mixeing is a lot better too since i got it.

yeah i didn't believe it myself. The signal has to go through analog to digital and back analog, which is what a DAC does, in less than a milisecond. impressive if you ask me.
