That's a sure way to not get any good feedback here. Sure you might get a few oogling 13 year old bags of hormones but their input won't be of much use other than flattering your ego. Anyone who actually matters won't take you seriousely.

What else are you supposed to do? Become recognized for your skill ALONE and make people realize that there is more to your so-called 'sex dominated world.' Perhaps if people like you were to do so, we would have an increase in raw talent.

Case-in-point: Imogen Heap is kinda wierd lookin'. Not gonna lie, but she's attractive in her own way I suppose. She's amazingly talented. Her music is incredible, and she is recognized solely for that. What does she have as a result? A shit-ton of respect.

Although True, this is not absolute - look at Kylie, waaaaay more famous that Imogen Heap, she can barely sing (and dance and act) but she's made a huge music career more from the aesthetics and her image.

Sadly, it was divulged by a major label chief A+R that if you want a record deal you have to already had some level of fame or had TV exposure, so you can see why people (again sadly) try to revert to other forms of self promotion.

Yeah man, TOTALLY agree. But the next question is, who gets a shload more respect? I know respect doesn't matter to some/most, but having respect is where it's at.
