Great set by Markus. Makes me look forward to Armada Night @ WMC that much more. 
I got there a little past 2 a.m. I could tell Markus had just blown up the room because he was building it up again playing good tracks but nothing too hard or crazy. Markus steadily built up the energy, dropped Perpsective Space a while later, and the entire room went insane. From that point forward Markus went on an all-out tear. I loved the way he played the last 2 hours or so, playing great hard and softer styles alike. Played most of the tracks I wanted to hear and expected, and many other gems as well. Everything was upbeat, even funky/techy, and beat-oriented trance. No abrupt transitions between harder and softer stuff, did not overly bang-it-out, and everything flowed nicely.
Last night showed me that Markus really understands how to construct a great set. He was clearly feeding off the crowd energy, and helping create it as well. He impressed me a lot last night. I really hope he play 3 hours at WMC. He deserves it, and that way he can take us on another great journey.
