i completely agree. trance is what i LOVE. but the last 2 years havent been trance, and i have been living off classics, trance 98-2003 style. i am out of touch with todays scene. if u can call it that.

its either as u say cheesy/generic or that tech/electro guff..

"Highlander" is an amazing intro. It's a shame that Tastexperience have made only a few such quality tracks more.
"Paradise" who would've thought it's a Vengaboys tune? Stunning but the beginning is definitely a "The Gift" rip-off. "Riser" is a great uplfiting trance as well, also featured on one of Tiesto's Magik comp (it was 4th afaik), but soooo underrated. It surely deserves more spotlight.

I thought there was only one set in Shanghai.. in my computer its just one set which has this name 'Paul Oakenfold - Live in Shanghai Essential Mix 1999'

How many live sets did he did in Shanghai? Looks like I only have one.

The one Ian posted he was just saying about his Favourite oakey set...it had nothing to do with Shanghai
