well me, amongst others. there are inherent human rights, that arent granted you by the law of the land, your culture, or your parliament. you are born with them, and they dont change if you go to a different country.
culture is merely the social manifestation of an idea(s). not all ideas are equal.
if we cant use reason to ascertain what is really wrong or right, then how can you even begin to argue there are wrongs and rights within cultures?
some of the things you see occur in nations, like the execution of rape victims, or punishment for mingling with the opposite sex are not wrong according to pkcRAISTLIN, they are wrong according to the rights these people were born with.
the "you cant judge another culture" idea is politically correct nonsense espoused by people that put the idea of universal human rights in the "too hard basket" and these people can go suck on my wang coz they'll never bring change to any person/culture that badly needs it.
