Agreed, the military/going to combat is voluntary, but it's also (in my opinion) one of the most selfless acts possible. And I think everyone's entitled to bitch about stuff that sucks - I just didn't think you could compare having a cheating spouse to being in combat, or to being a nurse. Everything's got different levels of blowing.

C'mon, the guy's getting shot at - even if he did volunteer for it, he's just looking for some support.

I just think it's ultra shit to say "Fuck off, you deserve what you got" when in reality whether or not you agree with the war they're involved in has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they're over there.
