I don't follow any masses. I have a mind of my own and ears to go with it. I support artists when I want to hear them spin/perform. Kind of like the rest of you.

Did you come out to support Noel Sanger when he was here last month? He's originally from this area and he always delivers. It's a shame that more people didn't turn out to support him especially since it was FREE.

Why don't you get them to book my husband to spin and all of you pay $25 to come see him and then we'll talk.

i would go and support amber!!!!

Just wanted to say thank you to all those that supported the event. We had a great time and I was very happy with Sharam's performance & the crowd seemed to enjoy it as well! The vibe was amazing =)

In regards to the ticket price: We're sorry that people think that $25 day of show was to expensive for this show but I can assure that we didnt get rich of the event lol. WE did offer limited tickets for only $15 & the rest of the pre-sales were sold for $20 at ticketweb and painted pupppy, hopefully next time people will take advantage of the pre-sale disscounts. We are just promoters not the club owners who get to keep the bar money as well, we just keep the door. The ticket price reflected the artist fee, the economy sucks right now and we dont like to charge more than $20 for any show but sometimes it has to be done in order to make the show work. I know Sasha was $15 but I can assure you that he did not charge 1/2 of his regular booking fee thus it translated into a cheaper tix price.

Anyways just wanted to say thanks to those in attendance and hopefully the next show will be better priced to fit everyones budget..

I only posted in this thread after the tone of someone else. My intention wasn't to hate on other people's good time. One of my best friends opened for Sharam that night so I'm glad that it was a good night for his sake. Thank you for pointing out the ticket price covers the artist's fee. I think a lot of people don't get that and they blame the club or the promoters. It's not about things fitting into our budget. We're just becoming more selective about how we spend our time and our money, and Sharam wasn't worth either of those.

Sasha isn't my favorite person, but for the most part he's usually good about not overcharging and he tends to spin longer than what he's being paid for.

It's people like some in this thread that cause Tampa to not get some of the better acts to come to the area. Lately, we've gotten the likes of G&D, Sasha, Starkillers, Sharam, Glaude and Gervais. For those of you who can't put $25 together for a night out in Tampa, make it a freaking Blockbuster night, stay home and quit ruining the music scene for the rest of us in Tampa that really enjoyed ourselves the other night. THanks

You sound like someone i hope i dont meet. I can just picture talking to you in the club, and after telling you i dont like sharam's set, you accuse me of following the masses. And then, you tell me i should've stayed home and rented a movie because i dont make as much money as you do and im on a tight budget. yea i bet you're a lot of fun to hang out with.

Jesus, what a clown. Grow up my friend and work on the thin skin. All I know is the fellas from Deep Dish (Sharam included) ALWAYS draw a HUGE crowd and never disappoint at any of the sets I've seen them play at Space or this latest time at Czar. Sharam plays more than PATT and his newest stuff like Be the Change, Secret Parkway and Get Wild are bombs. It doesn't have to be underground to be good music.... just ask the mass of people that will pack into Space for the Yoshitoshi party this year. They must be doing something right...
