If you constantly listen to fast, sped-up songs, you will abuse the pleasure that comes with that, you'll become habituated, and you'll experience pleasure ONLY with sped-up records, at which point you'll want _even faster_ music.
It's much like drug addiction. First you get the kick out of one dose; then, in order to get an equal amount of pleasure, you have to increase the dose; and so on. This is also called "tolerance increase" or something like that.
Anybody see what I'm saying, or this completely crazy?
Oftentimes, I'll listen to a fast mix, and the pleasure factor decreases for some reason near the end. So I'll put on some slow track for 4-5 minutes, and THEN I'll listen to a really fast cool song, and the experience is unbelievable! You feel good when you sense a difference.
