yeh quite frankly i cudnt give a rats monkey about the mixing, i mean its imressive if its good but quite frankly i dont go out to listen to mixing, i go for the tunes and as long as theyre not trainwrecked its fine by me! but mixing skill is the only way to get popular if you arnt a producer, you cant get popular on track selection alone i dont think...

LoL...this is another crappy attempt to bash Tiesto...

if you REALLY sat there and listened to see if he waited "32 beats" to mix the 2 songs and counted to make sure...WELL sorry but u have NO LIFE WHAT SO EVER!!!!....especially if u did it to his Dutch Dimensions set....

this is a joke

i've followed tiesto for a good few years and i find this statement hard to believe. if anyone knows tiesto, they'll know that he is very proud of his music and would therefore care a great deal about it. i personally find his mixing to be very good. certainly not the best technical mixer but he is indeed talented with the decks. as far as the 32 beats thing goes, who gives a shit? as the man has said himself,

"mixing is like sex. sometimes a quickie. sometimes a nice long one."

who gives a damn how long he keeps his transitions? as long as the entire set sounds good. its the entire "journey" that counts.

We all have our days.....even Tiesto & PVD. You have to keep in mind ...they are human too. Some people tend to forget that.

..And why do you think that if the transition is short, then it's necessarily "bad"?

Sounds pretty narrow-minded to me.

What matters is not how long or short the transition is, but how natural and nice-sounding it is.
