so with lovefest being the 4th...does that mean its the days leading up to the 4th or it begins the 4th and continues into the next week? never been to this which is why i ask

it will be the dayz leading up to the 4th! and the 4th is the final bash... + afterparty on sunday at the END UP!
saturday is the main event. all the preparties (which can start as early as tuesday/wednesday) and afterparties (which can go into next monday) are structured around that date.

yes!!!! my favorite set last year was lee burridge and bill patrick tag teaming for 8 hours!!!!!! we started at the end up at 5:30 am and i didn't leave until they had to drag me out at 4 pm to go catch a flight. i will definitely be staying until monday morning this year. i'm not missing any second of those two for this coming year. and lee told me they plan on doing the 8 hour marathon tag team again this year

last weekend while walking across the union square plaza on my way to vessel i was thinking of how great that huge open space would be to throw a friday daytime party just to showcase some edm music and promote the event to tourists who are in town and have no idea what lovefest is and happen to lucky enough to be visiting at the same time. that plaza gets soooo much traffic during the day, not to mention thousands of people can see there's something going on down there from their hotel rooms. it's probably the best place to do a promotional event. it could be anything from a small single amp set up to a huge open concert format, and the music would draw all kinds of people in...
