Real means many things to many people. There are parts of the bible that are extremely accurate, some that are a question of faith, others that are based in truth, and still others that are either allagory or complete fabrication. If one has actually read the bible and examined it in context one would find that they cannot make any blanket statements about the validity of the bible.
