My final word on the matter is that I like the crazy stuff, although I still don't care for "Coma" in particular.

People were saying that Sasha - Coma didn't go anywhere...I think THIS is the definition of music not "going anywhere". I don't mind listening to something like this once in a while, but really, only once in a while.

Little something to break retardness that invaded this thread:

Amon Tobin - At The End Of The Day
Completely different style, and little more pleasant to the ear. Amon made even more complex tunes, but this one has really occupied me lately and I just have to share it with people who haven't heard it yet. One more proof that he's one of the most technically skilled producers out there. Video was made by some fan, but it's also very cool.

Or maybe I'm just a freak.

I was thinking the exact same thing--although I don't know if you are talking about pot or just a cig. I think getting high and listening to that would be pretty intense.

Amazing video, but listening to the "music" only. No fucking chance in hell

Yeah, you could say that. Amon Tobin is very organic. I liked all of "Foley Room" actually, it's a pretty nice album, but personally i prefer his older releases.

Holy shit i've just noticed this thread! The track you posted is interesting, but if i'am going to listen to something, it must have substance.I like Proem lately. But then again i'm bored to post the samey same glitchy IDM, lol. Another problem is that you canno't find experimental/abstract music in youtube easily...! Lately i'm excited about Kashiwa Daisuke though... you can check his myspace here

http://www.myspace.com/kashiwadaisuke

This is in no way ordinary boring abstract/IDM music. Kashiwa Daisuke blends Classical (with a capital C, he really knows how to do it...) with abstract electronica/IDM as his low-end. Listen to the music developing with layers of violins and wonderfull piano while digital glitches accompany the romance. Perfect!

Edit: Oh yeah this is more complex. "Complex" in a proper, directional way lol.

Yeah, I've seen that video quite some time ago, I believe it has been posted few times already.
Anyway, that type of music is very hard to get into, but the video kicks ass indeed.
I have Autechre's Tri Repetae++ album and I didn't like it all that much.
I prefer Aphex Twin's works, since him and Autechre make music that's along the same lines (IDM and stuff).
But Autechre is definitely far more experimental.
