Not very. Most of these builders don't even bother to level the windows and closet doors properly, let alone try to reduce noise transfer between units. Count on being able to hear voices above you if people are drunk or having an argument.

Some people may report that their units are quiet, but that could just as easily mean they have quiet neighbours.
