Man you cannot joke around like this, especially if you are a newspaper, and especially if you are a newspaper in England. This is career/life ending stuff.
All credible sources have confirmed this is a real story, but nobody has been able to confirm if it is Max or not.

I like how they paint his father as a "friend of Hitler." Sir Oswald Mosely could not really be characterized as a friend of Hitler's. I believe the two men met one time (at Mosely's wedding). I met a few relatives of Mrs. Hazard once at my wedding, I would hardly consider them friends. I suppose this is just one more element of sensationalizm.
Very easy to prejudice however, and more believable, considering Mosley was pretty much the top British fascist during WW2.

No doubt... O. Mosley was a fascist; however, to call him a friend of Hitler is a streatch. Some may even question if he was really a fascist... I mean the British Union of Fascists was the second polictical party he had started in less then a decade and the fourth that he was a member of. Moreover, the BUF changed ideological stances rather frequently... "we're not anti-semitic"... "oh, what was that... we aren't gaining support... hmmm hating the jews worked for Hitler, maybe it will work for us... OKAY, we now officially hate the jews." It would be more accurate to call Mosley a political opportunist who thought that fascism was his ticket to power.

Regrettably you are now familiar with the results of this covert investigation and I am very sorry if this has embarrassed you or the club. Not content with publicising highly personal and private activities, which are, to say the least, embarrassing, a British tabloid newspaper published the story with the claim that there was some sort of Nazi connotation to the matter. This is entirely false.

When is Fascism, Nazism??
I mean I'm not necessarily for either side, but plenty of Europe still has a very very very strong fascist following.
In Rome of all places its very prevalent, openly shown by even Soccer players, as pictured by a Lazio player below.

generally, I'd equate nazism as fascism + racism
fascism at its core ideology is ultra nationalistic, but not racist. (well, in most cases)
