Have you people ever been to club somewhere on the planet besides Toronto? I have no idea how you can be content with some rat hole basement. I can agree that sometimes the people in the Guv can be pricks but I find in general Torontonians aren’t the warmest of people anyways. It’s because our balls are frozen 2/3 of the year, or maybe it’s because you losers are complaining about other people styles. Why does diversity at a club make you upset? You have to expect ravers, ginos, sweaty dudes, skanks and losers, at the biggest club in T.O. It just wouldn’t be Toronto.

If you’re in Europe or Asia and someone asked you where would they go clubbing in T.O., you would tell them to go to Guvernment without hesitating. There's only one huge club that plays the music we enjoy. I'll admit that the guv is not perfect. We do need another super-club to give us more options, but not until the scence grows.

I find this very strange that there’s going to be DAVE SEAMAN at the Guvernment and nowhere in the Toronto Forum as it been mentioned yet. This forum hates the Guv. That's just sad.

I got into the scene about 1.5 years ago. The first place i headed to was Guv. I was there every week, i mean it was the club. But everyone who has been in the scene longer than i constantly tell me that in 1999 the Guv was rocking.. Mark was on the ball, the crowd was insane, the TUNE sign was always there and that it was the biggest party period. This is not the case anymore, why? Because Guv is a household name, i mean who doesn't know about the Guv in Toronto???

Yes you are right, Guv has and is THE club in Toronto, but don't expect it will remain there for long...

Yes, we do need another super club to spread out all the clubbers that visit GUV on saturday nights, so we have more options... the way it is now, (when there are no special events) it is either GUV (due to it being a "super club") or one of the many smaller clubs, which don't even come close to GUV. If they were to open up Kool Haus on Saturdays and set it up as good as GUV, that would be perfect...

Dave Seaman has been mentioned in this forum, I guess you just didn't notice it... and no, we don't hate the GUV, we hate the way it is being handled and the way it treats its "customers".
