track 3 actually sounds pretty good, minus the vocals. same with track 4, although i didn't hear any vocals in that one. is track 5 the one with audrey gallagher? pretty awful. track 6 actually sounds pretty good too, the vocals included. i love how he blasts dj sammy in that one vid, but track 7 sounds pretty similar to 'heaven' at least.
onto the next vid... track 8 is pretty lame, it sounds dated and like it should be on a ministry of sound compilation album from 2001/2002, it seriously does. the bassline is alright, if not predictable. track 9 is just bad, doesn't even feel like music. feels like noise with a voice on top of it. track 10, oh god, jennifer rene. no thanks.
in conclusion, i guess i like 3, 4 and 6, based on these samples alone. judging from the tracklist on the other thread, i guess those are 'unforgivable', 'face to face', and 'in & out of love'. the rest are pretty much what i was expecting (read: shit), but i'm surprised i actually do like 3 of them.

OMG, this is euro-dance frenzy...i mean seriously...i doubt that anyone calls this "trance"...
Track-1 is soap-opera opening theme, quite laughable if one thinks the context..
Track-2 sounds like an 80s cheesy full-on power-ballad without the 80s awesomeness. Instead we get terrible euro-dance/pseudo-saw-trance production. Thanks but i'll prefer ultravox or tears for fears.
Track-3: Cliche female vocals and seriosuly...how MANY TIMES have you listened to this bloody simple ascending chord progression? I guess that it first appeared in 1994 or smthg. "Unforgivable" indeed!
Track-4: Oh boy was i wrong...did i mention a "cliche ascending chord progression" for the previous track? How wrong was i! This IS indeed the epitome of "standard-trancelead-by-numbers-accompanied-by-standard-FLStudio-Preset"
This is the kind of track that you make by putting some random ascending notes in FL, concluding that "it sounds good enough considering the newb that iam"
Track-5: This is so horrid...supra-cheesy almost helium female vocals with modern farty-electro bass, conjuring nightmarish images of the "Anthem"... How bad can it get...i mean seriously...
This is NOT about trance. I thing that we established that this has nothing to do with trance or whatsoever. This is JUST BAD POP music. I mean its not even good as a kind of pop... Depeche Mode make "pop" as well and i can assure that it has nothing to do with this garbage!
Track-6: "yourr eyeess aree hauuntiiinggg meeee baaabbyyy faalllingg in loooveee" -type of pop music enough said.
Track-7: "Wheenn everyythingg is lossttt prrromiisee meee thaatt youu will stayyy withh meee babbyyyy neveerr say neeeverrr"-type of pop music nough said.
(Well, with some random generic techy chords thrown in because deep techy chords are cool again and Armin actually listens to Terry Lee Brown Jr. a lot lately).
Track-8: "Raaiinnn in thee raaainnn" ccompanied by the cool 2002 MASSIVE RANK-1 SUPER-SAW NASTY RIFF! Yeeeaahh! Its the primary Dutch super-saw sound, you all know what i mean...the melody ofcourse sounds like it is taken from that period. the only track i like its great fun! Dj Tatana 4 Life!)
Track-9: Female vocals speaking random stuff which i don't care embedded within a deep/techy production because Armin likes to listen to Terry Lee Brown Jr. lately and techy stuff are cool again.
Track-10: interesting synth-work BUT accompanied with female vocals of random quality that go like this: "ii giiveee youu myy heaartt i'mm finee withouttt youuu nowwww babyy" nough said.
Track-11: Oh yes the end-of-the-night anthem! This is the only track that sounds like proper "epic/anthemic" trance. Drawback? The random, generic lead-line which i thing i've heard at LEAST a trillion times before. So, not good.
I have to say that these statements were based in the Youtube samples.I have the impression though that the full tracks wont have anything extra. I think that it is pretty clear (from the samples) that this is a "synth-pop" album, and what terrible synth-pop it is (i would rather say "euro-dance"or "euro-pop"). Its kinda bad actually thinking that Armin had the potential to do great stuff. Considering past tracks like "Blue Fear" and "Clear Blue Moon" one would thing that Armin could at least be a great producer of epic/anthem trance. Instead for that he opted for the high life of a pop-star. I wander if this kind of euro-dance music will sell though. Such an album in the era of Ian Van Dahl would indeed sell, but i wander who is going to buy this music in our times.
2/10.
